2024 - 2025
LPC's first major project, a liquid propellant rocket that utilized nitrous and ethanol, generating approximately 250 lbf of maximum thrust. Remote fueling was possible by using a servo actuated plumbing system. Culiminated in a successful hotfire test in April.
2025 - Present
As part of a competition sponsored by the US Air Force, we hope to modify an existing jet engine to maximize thrust and fuel efficiency, while minimizing waste heat. Currently looking into an afterburner design and a Stirling Cycle mechanism.
2025 - Present
A continuation of the Mojave Sphinx, we seek to use controlled thrust via microcontrollers to steer the rocket into designated areas along a given pathway.
